Burning Holi

This shot was taken by me on the eve of Holi- a colorful festival. Holi is celebrated to welcome new crops and season. Bright and vibrant colors all over. Holi is burnt(Wood, paper..) previous day before it is played...People take a round of it and make prayers for the sake of their family. I took this snap in our society.

wow!! you took this?!?! It's amazing! I like that it's not 100% obvious what's going on, you just see pretty colors and it looks like fire, but i love the story behind it.

It is fire...:) Jess....There are 2 days of Holi. 1st day is celebrated by firing few woods in night(a celebration of new crop) and 2nd day is of Playing Holi i.e playing with colors..:)
